2. Data that may be processed

• display name, first name or nickname;
• email address and account identifier;
• account creation and last login dates;
• account status and Rulezz+ information;
• favourites, preferences, language and service settings;
• game histories, scores, statistics and rankings;
• saved player profiles;
• session information and local device data;
• support messages;
• IP address, browser, device type, technical and security logs;
• cookie consent choices and evidence;
• transaction information necessary to follow subscriptions or purchases, as transmitted by payment providers.

Rulezz does not directly store full payment card numbers.

3. Purposes

• create, administer and secure accounts;
• authenticate users;
• provide game rules, assistants and tools;
• manage favourites and preferences;
• synchronise Rulezz+ features across devices;
• store histories, scores and statistics;
• calculate and display global rankings;
• manage Rulezz+ subscriptions and related payments;
• send essential service emails;
• answer support requests;
• secure the service, prevent abuse and diagnose incidents;
• measure audience where permitted;
• display advertising where permitted;
• improve performance, usability and features.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the processing, Rulezz relies on performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, consent, legitimate interests such as security and service maintenance, or legal obligations including accounting and tax requirements.

5. Required and optional data

Information identified as required is necessary to provide the requested functionality. Without it, Rulezz may be unable to create an account, process a request or provide the relevant service.

6. Recipients and service providers

Data is accessible to Editions64K and, where necessary, technical or contractual providers. Depending on the activated services, these may include LWS for hosting, Google for Analytics, AdSense or Consent Mode, Stripe or PayPal for payments, and other providers strictly required for operation or security.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where applicable, transfers must be covered by a lawful GDPR mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another applicable safeguard.

8. Retention

Data is retained only for a period proportionate to its purpose. Account data may be kept for the life of the account; game histories, scores and player profiles for the life of the account or until deletion; support requests for a reasonable follow-up period; billing data for legally required periods; and technical/security logs for a limited period necessary for security and diagnostics.

9. Rankings and public data

Rulezz may publicly display scores, rankings and nicknames. Account email addresses are not intended to be displayed publicly in rankings.

10. Service emails

Rulezz may send messages required for account operation, registration, security, Rulezz+, payments and support. Commercial messages requiring consent are sent only where the applicable legal conditions are met.

11. Security

Editions64K applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. Passwords are stored in protected form and are never sent by email.

12. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and French law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent at any time for consent-based processing. Contact: contact@rulezz.fr.

13. Complaints

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

14. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data through Rulezz tools where available or by contacting us. Certain information may be retained where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

15. Minors

Rulezz is not intended to deliberately collect sensitive information about minors. Where parental authorisation is legally required, it must be obtained in accordance with applicable law.

16. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical, functional or commercial changes. The date at the top identifies the current version.
